Every year since 1999 the Pantone Color Institute announces its Color of the Year – a color selected that is both a reflection of the evolving cultural, social and artistic influences around the world and a forecast of design trends in fashion, interior design, manufacturing, graphic design and hospitality.
The color selected for 2024 is Peach Fuzz.
Peach Fuzz is a soft muted peach that exudes warmth and comfort. It draws it’s inspiration from a global desire for peace and tranquility and, “echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection,” says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. It is youthful and classic, sophisticated and optimistic.
You can look for Peach Fuzz to show up in ways both subtle and vibrant in-home furnishings, clothing lines, branding and of course, weddings and events.
To help you imagine how to incorporate Peach Fuzz into your special event, Catering by Seasons’ Catergrrrl teamed up with Select Event Group Designer, Skylar Werner, and rock star photographer, Alison Trembley from Washington Talent to bring you seasonal tablescapes that draw it’s inspiration from this year’s Color of the Year.
Summer
Our summer table captures the soft, subtle, velvety, sensual tones of Peach Fuzz in a tablescape that is warm and welcoming.
Spring
Our spring table evokes renewal, hope and timeless romance. The antique inspired plates, modern flatware and gold accents seamlessly blend old and new for a look that is both classic and contemporary.

Our fall table showcases Peach Fuzz along with muted shades of green, blue and yellow for a tablescape that mirrors the changing leaves, the gathering winds and our own desire to connect with nature.
